Oral health is important for overall child health - healthy smiles are possible.

Oral health is important for everyone.  For children, especially, healthy teeth and gums contribute to good speech, healthy eating habits, and good social skills.

The goal of the Oral Health program is to enable all children to attain and sustain optimal health and developmental potential.  The Health Unit provides information and resources to help children with the development and maintenance of good oral health.  The Oral Health program offers no-cost dental programs and services to children aged 0 to 17 years for those who meet the financial assistance guideline.
