This directory is a comprehensive list of reliable and credible food and nutrition programs and services for the public. As well it can be used to facilitate the referral process for professionals and agencies in the region.

The directory has four sections:

1.    Healthy Eating Throughout the Lifecycle – a listing of government and non-government organizations, marketing boards and industry, who provide healthy eating information for the public, teachers, and other health professionals.

2.    Accessing Food: A Food Resource Guide – an inventory of local programs and services that increase access to food, which has been broken down by geographic location.
3.    Nutrition Counselling & Information – a listing of registered dietitians who provide nutrition counselling for specific medical concerns, government and non-government organizations that provide nutrition information for specific medical concerns, and a listing of information and services for eating disorders.   

4.    Hastings & Prince Edward Counties Dietitians’ Speakers Bureau – a listing of Registered Dietitians who provide nutrition presentations outside their usual employment to community groups, organizations and agencies.
